I found out about Mummy MOT through someone I follow on Instagram and knew this was something I wanted to get pretty much as soon as I fell pregnant, it was on my many lists! I went through the Mummy MOT website and found Lauren at Spire Health as my local practitioner and enquired with her directly.
Lauren replied to my email almost instantly and my booking was confirmed with a friendly telephone call.
On the day, Lauren couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier, she made me feel at ease as we worked through the questions before my physical check. She was so professional and knew exactly what to do/suggest for my areas of concern/that need rehabilitation.
Within 4 hours of leaving me, I had received my in depth report of everything we had discussed and her findings as well as a tailored exercise program to follow, to support my rehabilitation.
If I could sing Lauren’s praises any louder and wider I would! The words ‘highly recommended’ don’t give her enough credit to how amazing I thought her session was, but I absolutely would highly recommend her to all!

I saw Lauren for a Mummy MOT physio session and review today following a traumatic birth 7 weeks ago. I was incredibly impressed with the session and highly recommend it to any new mothers who are hoping to regain strength and confidence postpartum. Lauren took care to go through a detailed assessment of the pregnancy, birth and antenatal experience, and then gave me a full physical assessment, including addressing pelvic and abdominal concerns specific to pregnancy. She then gave me personalised exercises (which can be modified as I gain strength) and a plan going forwards to help me get back to full fitness and running! Most importantly Lauren made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time, and her reassuring, friendly nature made it an enjoyable, rewarding and worthwhile experience, as I was able to see a clear plan for returning to fitness and gaining my body confidence back. I heard about the mummy MOT just after I gave birth last year but there was no practitioners in my area at the time. So I had my Mummy MOT with Lauren at about 12 months PP and I have to say it was everything I needed and so much more!
From the minute Lauren came into my home I felt so comfortable and at ease. I felt really seen as she listened to all the details of my (traumatic) birth. She addressed all of my concerns/questions re pelvic floor and returning to exercise so thoroughly. My C-section scar was never something that bothered me, but Lauren showed me how to massage and treat the scar, and it looked better within days of following her advice.
Lauren was so professional from start to finish and sent a really in-depth report and exercise programme to me via email afterwards, which I still refer to every day.
Overall I can’t recommend a Mummy MOT with Lauren any more highly, every new Mum needs one!

I am now 3.5 months PP and I couldn’t recommend Lauren more! Such a thorough and in depth conversation and examination and I felt so listened to.
We went through exercises for both my body and pelvic floor and Lauren really focussed on what I wanted to achieve going forward and tailored the exercises to make sure I will be able to meet my goals safely and comfortably.
I have now had pelvic floor physio and a gynaecology appointment on the NHS and neither compared to the care and expertise I got from Lauren.
