Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist

I’ve wanted to be a physiotherapist for as long as I can remember. As a sport-obsessed child, I developed knee pain and found myself in a physiotherapy clinic. That experience left a lasting impression – I fell in love with the idea of becoming a physio and I never looked back.

I qualified in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton. My early career in the NHS gave me invaluable experience across almost every area of physiotherapy – from musculoskeletal care and stroke medicine, to neurological rehabilitation, trauma & orthopaedics, intensive care, amputee rehab, mental health inpatients, and women’s health. Working in these diverse settings taught me the importance of compassion, communication, and a holistic approach to the human condition.

Over time, I discovered a true passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I loved the challenge and the privilege of making a tangible difference to people’s day-to-day lives. This passion led me to postgraduate study, and in 2017 I completed a Master’s degree in Manual Therapy with distinction. I am proud to be a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) – a group of just 1,200 clinicians recognised for excellence in advanced musculoskeletal practice.

I spent 10 years in the NHS alongside varied private practice roles, developing expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions in both adults and children. My growing interest in women’s health led me to train as a Mummy MOT practitioner in 2020, expanding the support I can provide to women through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

My approach is very hands-on and patient-centred. I want every client to leave a session feeling more confident, more comfortable, and more in control of their recovery. I’m friendly, professional, and I take pride in excellent communication – listening carefully, asking the right questions, and making sure you always feel understood and empowered.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of two little ones under three – so complaining about being tired is my main hobby! When I can, I love running (very slowly), being outdoors, and anything where food and drinks are involved.
